Can I move my server config to a new bot account without losing roles?

TheaAPPjust now· confidence 0.94

Yes — export the config from Settings, then import it on the new account. Roles and channel mappings carry over automatically [1].

Beyond Answers

One Install for Support, Safety, and Server Operations

Answering is the loudest part of the job, not all of it. Everything below is in the same install, configured from Discord or the dashboard — nothing to bolt on.

Four Layers Before a Human Looks

Discord’s native rules, then flood and scam-link heuristics, then the moderation API, then an AI pass that reads the rules you wrote. Each severity gets the action you pick.

  • /automod rules
  • log → timeout
  • exempt roles

Review Borderline Calls, Then Act

Quarantined messages land with Approve and Uphold buttons. Warn, timeout, kick, ban, purge, and lock commands share the same member record and escalation ladder.

  • approve / uphold
  • /standing
  • /purge

Stop Raids and Scam Campaigns

Detect join surges and content storms, challenge newcomers, and connect suspicious links, attachments, QR codes, identities, and cross-channel campaigns before they spread.

  • /raid
  • QR & attachments
  • opt-in threat network

Tickets That Arrive Pre-Triaged

Members open a private channel from a panel. Thea answers from your docs first, tags category, urgency, and sentiment, routes to the right role — then backs off when a human replies.

  • /ticket open
  • urgency & sentiment
  • role routing

Server Activity, Routed by Audience

Send message, member, join, moderation, server, voice, and ticket events to separate staff channels. Toggle every event and keep message copies inside your Discord.

  • 7 destinations
  • per-event controls
  • no message archive

The Same Docs, Published

Turn your knowledge base into a searchable help center with collections and articles — hosted for you, or on your own domain. Discord and the web answer from one source.

  • collections & search
  • custom domain
  • content API

Welcome and Screen New Members

Greet newcomers, grant a role after raid verification, and collect onboarding answers in a staff channel without storing those answers in Thea.

  • welcome message
  • join role
  • onboarding form

Announcements and Saved Replies

Send rich announcements from Discord or the dashboard, schedule recurring posts on paid plans, and give staff reusable replies with autocomplete.

  • /announce
  • /macro send
  • recurring posts

Invite Campaigns and Support Analytics

Measure Discord invite campaigns from gross joins through 7- and 30-day retention, with attribution coverage kept visible. Track support trends and knowledge gaps alongside them.

  • invite attribution
  • retention
  • knowledge gaps

Security & Privacy

Security Boundaries You Can Understand

Encrypted in Transit & at Rest

TLS everywhere; integration credentials sealed with AES-256-GCM. Your content is never used to train foundation models

Tenant Isolation by Default

Postgres row-level security scopes every row to your server — one community can never read another’s data

Retention You Can See

Question transcripts age out by plan. Removing the bot starts a 14-day deletion clock; event copies posted to your Discord log channels stay under your control

Thea is an AI support and community-operations bot for Discord. It answers member questions from the sources you connect, cites the exact passages it used, and hands off when it is not confident. The same install also tracks invite campaigns and runs layered moderation, raid and scam defense, tickets, onboarding, server logs, analytics, announcements, saved replies, and a public help center.

Individual web pages, sitemaps, status pages, and PDF, Markdown, or text files. Paid plans also connect Notion and Zendesk and add scheduled re-syncs; every plan can refresh a source manually.

Every draft answer is scored before posting. Below your confidence threshold, Thea stays silent or pings the right moderator with full context instead of guessing.

It runs in layers: Discord’s native rules, then heuristics for floods, mass mentions, invite spam and scam links, then the moderation API, then an AI pass that judges borderline messages against the rules you wrote. You choose what each severity does, from logging only up to a timeout. Kicks and bans are only ever reachable through an escalation ladder you configure yourself, never from a single message, and everything is rate-limited so a misconfiguration cannot empty your server.

You can route message edits, deletes, bulk deletes and invite posts; member roles, avatars and names; joins and leaves; bans, unbans and timeouts; channel, role, emoji and server changes; voice joins, moves and leaves; and ticket activity into separate staff channels. Every event has its own switch. Message copies go straight to channels in your Discord server and are not archived in Thea’s database.

No, but you can keep one. Thea opens a private channel per request from a panel, answers from your docs first, tags category, urgency, and sentiment, and routes to the right role — then steps back once a human replies. If you already run Ticket Tool or similar, point Thea at that category instead and it will answer inside those tickets.

Fix it once from the dashboard or right in Discord. The correction becomes the verified answer from then on, and Thea cites it for future questions.

No. Thea only answers messages routed as genuine questions in the channels you allow. Chatter, memes, and off-topic messages are left alone.
